For this week we have been asked to work on a particular concept and to interpret a particular in different ways. My group was given the word 'Twist'.

When thinking about the word 'twist' I develop various different thoughts, there being: natural aspects such as tree roots being twisted, the physiological side referring to how some people can be twisted with particular thoughts they may have, and lastly man made aspects such as rope and how this can be twisted to create knots.

There are many different interpretations of the words and with is this activity we were able to really think outside the box and create a wide illustrative piece of work in relation to our word.

Here are our mood boards illustrating: achitechturl aspects, nature, colour, metal, human body and twisted textiles! I feel all of the boards are very strong and really allow the audience to experience what the word twisted means to us as a group.

Here I have developed a mood board illustrating the twisted concept.  This is an exciting page with lots of colours and texture, which reallt adds to the feel of the page.

Hussein Chalayan Gallery & Tate Modern
During the last few weeks I have been given an insight into very unique designers who really have inspired me! Firstly by visiting the Hussein Chalayan gallery it really allowed me to think and create some idea as to what all his work interpreted to us as the audience. His sculpture pieces like the one shown  below illustrate a sense of speed and a sense of process with plastic moulds on the walls opposite the plastic sculptures. This really demonstrates the process in which he used to produce such creative pieces. Additionally all of his work presented in his gallery reflects different aspects of his film.
