Fashion Studio - Lines & Circles

Lines and Circles activity to enable us to become more free with our mark making. We then were asked to produce a number of drawings using this approach, which a found difficult as my sketches are quite sketchy. The following sketches demonstrate how in just a couple of minutes you can produce an image but the key is observation to ensure proportion is right and the overall angle of the body is suggesting what you see.

I feel here in this image I have made good use of the technique and really find it interesting how all the shapes interlink with each other. Additionally i feel this technique allows you to see lots of movement within the picture.

Here I have slipped back into my sketchy style, but tried to incorporate lines and circles where possible. I feel this image has a lot of character and really allows the audience to visually see the man's posture.

I really like this image and the position in which the model is sitting. I found it difficult to begin with to ensure that proportions were right, however I feel I approached this difficult pose well with a lot of observation.

This image i produced with very few lines, in doing this I beleive it has made it quite a strong image, and you can definatly get the impression the woman is leaning over.
